Chinese FM dismisses Palau president's claims on China's missile test launch as 'groundless, malicious in intent, not worth mentioning'_我的网站

一 |     जागरण संवाददाता, नई दिल्ली। दिल्ली पंचायत राज अधिनियम-1954 को लागू करने की मांग को लेकर दिल्ली हाईकाेर्ट में जनहित याचिका दायर की गई है। वहीं, याचिका पर सुनवाई करते हुए मुख्य न्यायाधीश देवेंद्र कुमार उपाध्याय व न्यायमूर्ति तुषार राव गेडेला की पीठ ने पक्षकारों को दिल्ली के विधायी इतिहास पर एक नोट पेश करने का आदेश दिया। अदालत ने कहा कि नोट में यह भी बताया जाए कि क्या दिल्ली पंचायत राज अधिनियम के प्रविधान अभी भी दिल्ली के क्षेत्रों पर लागू हैं या उक्त अधिनियम बाद के घटनाक्रमों के कारण निरस्त हो गया है। यह भी पढ़ें- दिल्ली सरकार ने लिया एक और बड़ा फैसला, अब इस अभियान को 2 अक्टूबर तक बढ़ाया अदालत ने दिल्ली सरकार के स्थायी अधिवक्ता समीर वशिष्ठ को यह बताने को कहा कि क्या दिल्ली पंचायत राज अधिनियम अभी भी अस्तित्व में है और क्या यह दिल्ली के कुछ ग्रामीण क्षेत्रों पर लागू है। साथ ही अदालत ने मामले की सुनवाई 10 दिसंबर तक के लिए स्थगित कर दी।。

Lin made the remarks when responding to a media inquiry about reports that Palau President Surangel Whipps Jr. hoped Pacific island countries could form a "united position" on China's missile test. Whipps claimed that, from China's standpoint, they want us to know that "any one of your islands, we can take out." He also questioned why China chose to test-launch a missile capable of carrying a nuclear warhead near Tuvalu and the Solomon Islands, rather than over the vast open waters between China and the US.
